The type of glazing used is dependant upon the use / requirement of the item. Windows are available fully opening, side opening, tilt & turn, with or without internal shuttering built into the unit, or can be fitted with external roller shutters. Glazing can also be tinted or filmed where needed.

Internal doors can be either hollow core, steel or fire rated complete with certified vision panels, fitted as required.

Security systems such as cctv, electronic remote access etc can also be fitted .

Standard buildings are supplied with wall mounted convector heaters thermostatically controlled with timers.
This system can be subsituted with either a fully fitted Wet System or Airconditioning Units either remote or hardwired, both of which can give an improved energy calculations for a building, dependant upon its location and use

The internal layout of a building is designed with the client using CAD. Internal fittings will be completed as far as possible prior to delivery to minimize site disruption.

Lighting

Buildings are supplied with standard surface mounted fluorescent tubes with diffusers but this can be changed to Spotlights; Category II; Low Emission Energy Saving Light fittings etc – surface mounted or recessed in a ceiling grid.

Where regulations require it emergency lighting can be fitted & certified within any building

Dependant upon the type of installation buildings are usually delivered fully wired with sockets and switchs being flush mounted.

Dado Trunking - 3-part, can be surfaced fitted at skirting or dado level to accommodate any IT; Data; Socket positions needed, giving flexibility to relocate personnel & desks within the building at a later date.

Floor and ceiling sockets can also be fitted with false flooring being available for cabling. In addition lighting can be switched by using PIR’s, saving on energy consumption.

All electrical installations are completed by fully certified NICEIC electricians and certification is supplied on site with every building delivered.

Intruder and Fire Alarm systems can be installed either stand alone, wireless or integrated into existing on site schemes. Spacebuilder can liaise with the onsite contractors to ensure that there are no problems and a fully integrated installation takes place, up to current regulations.
